Terms of Use for goalGetr

DRAFT FOR LEGAL REVIEW. NOT IN FORCE. This text describes how goalGetr will work once the changes in “goalGetr legal fixes” (27 October 2026) have been built. Yellow highlights are open points, numbered V1, V2 and so on, and collected at the bottom.

Last updated: [BEKREFT V1: date of approval]. Version: [BEKREFT V2: version tag, e.g. terms-2026-11-xx].

1. About these terms

These terms apply between you and goalGetr AS, organisation number 935 734 746 MVA, registered in the Register of Business Enterprises (Foretaksregisteret) (“goalGetr”, “we”; contact details in section 16). They apply to the app at app.goalgetr.co and to the phone app when it arrives, to the website goalgetr.co and its forms, and to the camps sold there (section 9).

When we say “parent”, we also mean other guardians, for example a legal guardian.

How you accept these terms

When you create an account, you tick the box “I accept the Terms of Use and have read the Privacy Policy.” The box is not ticked in advance, and you cannot create an account without it. For children under 13, a parent or guardian accepts these terms when they create the child’s account with “Add child”. What applies to ages 13–17 is set out in section 2.

Personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy. Cookies and the Meta Pixel on the website are explained in section 11 of it. You change your choice under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the website.

We also have a short version of these terms for children: one for children under 13 who read it with a parent, and one for ages 13–17. [BEKREFT V3: the address of the short versions for children]

Which documents apply

For clubs, the club’s agreement with goalGetr and the data processing agreement also apply. The data processing agreement governs how we process the team’s personal data on behalf of the club. [BEKREFT V4: which document takes precedence in case of conflict (club agreement, data processing agreement, these terms, the short versions for children), and which language version (NO, EN, SV) takes precedence, Jens]

2. Who can use goalGetr

goalGetr is made for ice hockey clubs, teams, players, parents and coaches in Norway and Sweden. You can use goalGetr as a player, parent or coach. The phone app is only offered in the App Store and Google Play in Norway and Sweden.

Birth year before the account exists

Before we create an account, we ask “What year were you born?”, and the answer decides the next step. We ask for your birth year, not your full date of birth. That is why we treat you as under 13 until the end of the year you turn 13. Your age is calculated from your birth year. [BEKREFT V5: how the age limit of 18 is calculated when we only have the birth year, CDA and Jens]

You cannot change your birth year yourself. A confirmed parent can correct it. [BEKREFT V6: how adults, and young people without a linked parent, get their birth year corrected, for example via support@goalgetr.co, and how we check such a request, CDA]

If you already have an account, we ask you to give your birth year and accept these terms the next time you log in. [BEKREFT V7: what happens to existing accounts for children under 13 that were created without a parent (recommended: the parent approves, 30-day deadline, then pause)]

AgeAccountWho accepts the terms
Under 13The child cannot create an account on their own. If the child tries, they see “Ask a parent to create your account” and can enter a parent’s email address. The parent then gets an invitation to create the child with “Add child”. We do not keep the child’s email address or phone number. The parent, who also declares that they are the child’s parent or guardian (section 11).
13–17Your own account. You can link a parent, but you do not have to.You. From the age of 13 you can consent yourself (the Norwegian Personal Data Act, personopplysningsloven, § 5), but ticking the box is not a binding contract (the Norwegian Guardianship Act, vergemålsloven, § 9): anything legally binding, for example a purchase, is done by an adult. The rules in section 7 also apply to you. If a parent links to your account, we also ask the parent to accept these terms, without stopping you in the meantime.
18 and overYour own account. You, as a binding contract.

For ages 13–17, a parent must be linked to your account before your photo is shown to others (section 5), before you order a prize (section 8) and before anything is bought. You can make the link at any time in Settings.

One person per account

An account belongs to one person, and you cannot create an account for anyone else. The only exception: a parent creates an account for their own child under 13 with “Add child”. Only an adult parent account can do that.

3. Content you add

Content is everything you add to goalGetr: text, notes, drills, sessions, photos, video and files.

You keep your rights

You own what you create. We only get the right of use we need to run goalGetr. That means storing the content, including with our subprocessors (Privacy Policy section 7), showing it to the people you share it with, and making the technical changes needed to show it. Examples are converting video to a format that plays on a phone, removing the background on the card photo, or translating text when you ask us to.

The right of use is free of charge and lasts as long as the content is in goalGetr. If you are 13–17, it is a permission you give when you add the content, and you withdraw it by deleting the content.

What you cannot add

  • Photos or video in which other children can be recognised, unless the child and their parents have said yes.
  • Content you do not have the right to share, for example other people’s video, music or drills.
  • Health information about players in notes, messages or free text, including injuries and illness. goalGetr does not ask for health information in the app, and attendance answers have no reason such as “sick” or “injured”. Before a camp, we may ask parents about allergies (section 9).
  • Anything else that breaks the rules in section 7.

Coach licence for drills you share

Before you share a drill or upload video, you tick “I have the right to share this, and no other children are shown without consent.” By ticking it, you confirm that you made the content yourself or are allowed to share it, for example by the club, the rink or the person who filmed it. You keep the copyright.

  • You give goalGetr a licence to use drills you share in goalGetr. [BEKREFT V8: the scope of the licence (only in goalGetr or also in marketing), its duration, whether it can be transferred, and what happens to shared drills when the coach deletes them or their account, Jens]
  • The licence never covers photos and video of children in marketing (section 5).
  • You can be a coach even if you are under 18, but then a parent must accept the licence for you. [BEKREFT V9: how the parent accepts the licence for a coach under 18 in the app]

4. Your account and security

  • You log in with a one-time code that we send to your email address or phone number. There are no passwords.
  • Do not share the code, and look after your email and phone: anyone who has them can log in.
  • Give correct information, including your correct birth year.
  • Head coaches have a separate PIN code for development notes. Keep it secret.
  • If your child has no email address or phone number of their own on the account, your child cannot log in on their own, and you manage the account from your own account.
  • If you think someone has used your account, or that a parent link is wrong, write to support@goalgetr.co. We remove wrong links quickly and log the case.

Emails and notifications from us

We send emails and notifications that are part of the service, for example about sessions, cancellations and rosters. We also send them to parents who are linked to a player. These messages contain no offers.

You only get the newsletter if you tick a separate box that is not ticked in advance: “Yes, send me news and offers from goalGetr by email (camps, programmes, new features), about once a month. Unsubscribe any time.” You can use goalGetr without it. The box is only shown to adults and parents, and the newsletter only goes to their own email. We never send marketing to children’s accounts, and every email has a link to unsubscribe. [BEKREFT V10: whether young people aged 13–17 get the box, and whether the rule of the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) that only a parent can consent for children under 15 should be in the text, CDA and Jens]

5. Photos and video

Card photo and profile photo

When you upload a card photo or profile photo, you see one optional box that is not ticked in advance: “Show my photo to my team and to players I trade cards with.” If you do not tick it, the photo is saved, but only the player and their parents see it. Everyone else sees a placeholder, and the app works the same. If you say yes, the team and the players you trade cards with see the photo, also in other clubs.

Player’s ageWho says yes
Under 13The parent, who manages the account.
13–17The player ticks the box, and the linked parent gets a request. The photo is only shown when both have said yes. If either of them says no, the photo stays private.
18 and overThe player themselves.

You can change your mind at any time with the switch “Show my photo to others” in Settings. If you turn it off, the photo is hidden at once everywhere, also on cards in other people’s collections.

Background removal

Removing the background on the card photo is part of the card feature. It happens under these terms, without a separate box. We use remove.bg, which is run by Canva Austria GmbH (Privacy Policy sections 6 and 7).

Video of yourself, on the team and at camp

As a player, you should only upload video of yourself. If other children are in it, section 3 applies. Coaches can post video and photos on the team. That is the club’s data, and the club is responsible for it (section 6). Video from camps is covered in section 9.

Photos of children in marketing

We do not use photos or video of children in marketing without a separate, voluntary consent. That consent can be withdrawn, and it does not affect anyone’s place at a camp. The licence coaches give us for shared drills never covers photos and video of children in marketing. [BEKREFT V11: whether and how the consent is collected, for example in the camp sign-up, who gives it (the parent, and for ages 13–17 also the young person), and the basis for the photos and film of players on goalgetr.co/camps today, Jens]

6. Clubs, coaches and teams

The club’s responsibility

The club is the controller for the data needed to run the team: rosters, attendance, training plans, game rosters, development notes, and the team’s photos and video. goalGetr is a processor and processes this data on behalf of the club.

goalGetr is itself the controller for accounts, player cards, the rating, stickers, tokens (once they are launched, see section 8), trades, the forms on the website, the Meta Pixel, and AI on goalGetr’s own content (Privacy Policy section 2).

The player cards and training stickers are based on the club’s attendance records. [BEKREFT V12: whether the cards’ use of the club’s attendance is agreed in the data processing agreement as joint controllership or as disclosure from the club to goalGetr]

The data processing agreement

The data processing agreement is signed by the club’s board or management, as the privacy code of the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports, NIF (NIFs personvernnorm, § 4.6), requires. A coach cannot accept it by ticking a box in the app. Among other things, the agreement says that goalGetr follows NIF’s code. It lists our subprocessors and gives the club a right to object to them. It gives the club a right to audit, and it gives goalGetr the right to use the club’s name and logo on the player cards. [BEKREFT V13: the data processing agreement has not been written yet; a link will be added when it exists]

When you create a team, you confirm that you are allowed to act for the club or the team. [BEKREFT V14: what applies to teams created before the club has signed the data processing agreement]

The coach’s duties

  • Only use information about players when you have a good reason, for example to plan training.
  • Tell players and parents how the team uses goalGetr.
  • Never write health information in notes. The app reminds you of this under the coach note on a session and under the development notes. Everyone on the team and their parents can see a coach note on a session (up to 250 characters).
  • Only confirm parents you know belong to the player, in the member list that only coaches see (section 11).
  • Notes and video on your team are not shown to other teams.

Development notes and development level

The head coach can set a development level from 1 to 5 for each player (in the app: “Level” under “Position & level”) and write development notes. The notes are behind a PIN code, and only the head coach can read them. All coaches on the team see the development level, so they can plan training and put together groups and lines. [BEKREFT V15: whether the development level should be used to put together game lines for U13 and younger, where NIHF (the Norwegian Ice Hockey Association) requires equal ice time and balanced lines; decision at the meeting]

Players and parents see neither the development level nor the notes in the app. They can still ask for access to what is stored about them, including the notes (Privacy Policy section 8). [BEKREFT V16: any exceptions from the right of access for the coach’s notes, and that the club answers as the controller, Jens]

AI features for coaches

The buttons “Expand with AI” and “Translate with AI”, and the field “Describe the drill / session”, send the text you have written to an AI service from Anthropic, but only when you tap. A short notice about this is shown next to each button.

  • Anthropic does not use the text to train its models and deletes it within 30 days. If the text is flagged for breaking Anthropic’s usage policies, it may be stored for up to 2 years. The text is stored in the USA (Privacy Policy section 7).
  • Do not write health information or other sensitive information about players in text you send.
  • Text that AI has expanded from keywords is labelled as AI-expanded. Translations are not labelled.
  • In the phone app, we ask for your permission once before you first use these features, and you can withdraw that permission in the settings.

goalGetr also uses the same service to translate its own official content, not yours, into Norwegian and Swedish automatically.

7. Rules of use, reporting and moderation

Rules

When you use goalGetr, you must not:

  • bully, threaten, harass or publicly shame anyone,
  • post illegal content, sexualised content or hate speech,
  • post personal data about others without a reason, or photos of children unless the child and their parents have said yes,
  • pretend to be someone else, or pretend to be the parent of a child you are not the parent of,
  • try to get into other people’s accounts or into parts of the service you do not have access to,
  • extract data automatically, disrupt the service or get around restrictions,
  • use goalGetr for advertising or sales that we have not agreed with you.

Reporting and moderation

All photos, videos and drills that others can see have a “Report” button, also for players and parents. You can also write to support@goalgetr.co. Reports go to our moderation queue. For cases that involve a child, we aim to deal with them within hours, not days.

The head coach can remove content on the team and block a member from the team. The app shows how to contact the coach and goalGetr.

We store content that users add, and we do not check it in advance. When we learn about illegal content, we remove it or block access to it quickly (the Norwegian E-Commerce Act, ehandelsloven, § 18). If content breaks the rules, we can remove it and suspend or close the account (section 13). [BEKREFT V17: what the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) requires for Swedish users (legal representative in the EU, Art. 13; point of contact, Art. 12; description of the moderation in the terms, Art. 14; statement of reasons, Art. 17; complaint system, Art. 20), and whether the exemption for small enterprises applies, Jens]

8. Player cards, stickers, tokens and prizes

The player card

The front of the card shows the first name and the first letter of the surname, the team, the jersey number and the card design. It shows the photo only with a yes under section 5 (otherwise a placeholder). The front is what is traded.

The back of the card shows the rating, skill scores, the level and the level stickers Black, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.

The app calculates the rating from attendance at the team’s sessions and games, and from tasks ticked off as done. No coach sets it. The head coach’s development level 1–5 is something else and does not affect the card.

Who sees the back

Children’s-sport age follows the age class in hockey, not the age of 13. In Norway, it covers U13 and younger, and the season ends on 30 April. In Sweden, it covers U12 and younger, and the season ends on 15 May. For example, a child born in 2014 is of children’s-sport age in Norway up to and including 30 April 2027.

PlayerWho sees the back
Children’s-sport ageOnly the child and their parents. Not people who have the card in their collection, not trading partners, not on rosters, and not in the head coach’s view of the player. The back is never used to sort players or to put together groups or lines.
Under 18, above children’s-sport ageHidden from others by default. The player can choose “Everyone” under “Card privacy”.
18 and overVisible to people who have the card in their collection, to trading partners and in the head coach’s view of the player, unless the player chooses “Private”.

At children’s-sport age, we show progress. If the rating goes down after a break, we show it as something the child can earn back, not as a loss. At children’s-sport age, there are no leaderboards, no comparisons with friends, no sharing of the rating and no “best on the team”.

We do not use pressure: no streak breaks if you skip a day, we do not send notifications that nag children, and you can make up for days you have missed.

Trading cards

Cards can be traded at all ages, also with players in other clubs. A traded card ends up in your collection and is always shown as it is now: if the owner hides the photo, it is hidden for you too. A parent can turn off trading in the child’s settings. Until the parent link is confirmed, the child’s photo and card are kept out of trades with other children. [BEKREFT V18: whether this also applies to players aged 13–17 who have not linked a parent]

Stickers and tokens

[BEKREFT V19: applies from when stickers and tokens are launched in the app; removed if they have not been built at publication, CDA]

  • Everyone can see stickers for goals and skills, for example the first goal in a game.
  • Training stickers count attendance. Others only see them as milestones every child can reach during a season (for example 5, 10 and 25 sessions), and tasks at home count too. We never show who has trained the most. Otherwise, training stickers are private.
  • Tokens are only earned by completing daily tasks. They can never be bought, given away for money or exchanged for money, and they have no cash value.
  • Tokens unlock designs for the front of the card, for example colours, patterns, animals and club colours. There are many designs at about the same price, so the child picks the one they like best.
  • There are no draws, mystery boxes or card packs that you pay for.
  • [BEKREFT V20: what happens to tokens when the account is deleted, CDA]

Prizes

Prizes, like purchases, only apply once goalGetr starts selling (see the open point in section 10).

  • A prize has a fixed price in tokens, and no one pays money for it.
  • A parent must approve each order and the delivery address from their own account. The child sees that the order is waiting for approval and can cancel it while it is waiting. The parent can cancel it before the prize has been sent.
  • Players aged 13–17 must have a linked parent to place an order.
  • We only use the address to deliver the prize.
  • At children’s-sport age, everyone gets the same prize, or no one gets a prize (the competition rules of the Norwegian Ice Hockey Association, NIHF, kampreglement, § 7-1). [BEKREFT V21: whether physical prizes that the child gets for their own tokens are compatible with NIHF’s kampreglement § 7-1 and NIF’s rules for children’s sport (barneidrettsbestemmelser), or whether the token shop should only have digital designs at children’s-sport age, Jens]
  • In Sweden, we do not give prizes with a cash value linked to results to players under 16 (the rules of the Swedish Ice Hockey Association, SIF, § 2:3).
  • Prizes from sponsors are shown without encouragement to buy.
  • Delivery time, who sends the prize, and what happens if a prize is sold out or the account is closed: [BEKREFT V22: written prize terms]

9. Camps

Who organises the camps

The camps are sold on goalgetr.co/camps by goalGetr AS. CDA Hockey leads the training on the ice. [BEKREFT V23: who organises and sells the camps under NIHF’s kampreglement § 2-14 (activities sold by anyone other than clubs require approval from NIHF, must be held outside the season and cannot target U13 and younger), and whether the camps have such approval, Jens/CDA] [BEKREFT V24: which age classes the camps are open to, and who is responsible for the players on and off the ice, Jens/CDA]

Sign-up

The form on the camps page asks for the parent’s name, email and mobile number, and for the player’s name, birth year, position and club. You tick the box “I have read the Privacy Policy. I am the parent or guardian, or I am 18 or older.” Only a parent, or a player who is 18 or older, can sign up. [BEKREFT V25: whether the checkbox should say “over 18 år” (over 18) or “18 år eller eldre” (18 or older), as the English text says, CDA and Jens]

The form does not ask about allergies or health. If the camp needs to know about allergies, we ask you directly closer to the camp. We then ask for a separate, explicit consent and delete the information after the camp.

The camp terms are in this section. [BEKREFT V26: how the camp terms become part of the contract before payment when the form only has the privacy box (W2), e.g. with a link to section 9 by the payment button (the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act, angrerettloven, § 8), Jens]

Payment and when the contract is binding

The price, and any early-bird price, is shown in the form before you pay. It is the total price, including VAT where VAT applies. [BEKREFT V27: whether the camps are subject to VAT] You then pay at Stripe, which processes the card details. We fill in your email address at Stripe for you.

Above the payment button, it says that there is no right of withdrawal for camps with fixed dates, and the button says that you commit to paying. [BEKREFT V28: the button text under angrerettloven § 16 (e.g. “Order with obligation to pay”), that the line about the right of withdrawal is above the button, whether the button is in our form or at Stripe, and when the order becomes binding, Jens]

After payment, you get a confirmation of the purchase by email. [BEKREFT V29: who sends the confirmation (goalGetr or Stripe), and that it meets angrerettloven § 18 (including the camp, the dates, the price, that there is no right of withdrawal, and the cancellation rules), Jens/CDA]

The camps have fixed dates, so the right of withdrawal does not apply (the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act, angrerettloven, § 22 (m)).

Cancellation, refunds and insurance

[BEKREFT V30: rules for cancellation and refunds, including in case of illness or injury, if we cancel the camp, and if too few people sign up] [BEKREFT V31: whether the players are insured at the camp, and through whom (for example the club’s or the federation’s licence insurance)]

The camp’s team in goalGetr

After payment, a page shows the camp you have paid for and the code for the camp’s team in goalGetr. With the code, you link the player to the team, using “Add child” if the player is under 13. The page remembers the payment on your device for 30 days (Privacy Policy section 11). Once the player is on the team, the rest of these terms apply.

Video from the camp

The coaches film the players on the ice. The videos are part of the camp, for training and feedback. They are shown to the player and their parents on the camp’s team in goalGetr. [BEKREFT V32: whether the coaches’ feedback is part of what the camp offers, who on the camp’s team sees the video and feedback, the legal basis for the filming, and how long video and feedback are stored, Jens] [BEKREFT V33: whether feedback on children of children’s-sport age is in line with NIF’s rules for children’s sport; the camp form in PR #108 currently departs from decision W2 (mandatory filming consent, an allergy field, and one combined terms and privacy box), Jens]

Photos and film of the players in marketing follow section 5.

10. Purchases and subscriptions

Clubs that order a club package in the form on goalgetr.co do not pay in the form. They get an invoice and a separate agreement. [BEKREFT V34: where the terms for club packages are]

The rest of this section applies to consumer purchases. [BEKREFT V35: applies only once goalGetr starts selling subscriptions/prizes]

Who can buy

Only an adult account can buy. A child or young person cannot take out a subscription, not even with their own money. Children’s accounts see no prices, no buy buttons and no prompts to ask their parents (the Norwegian Marketing Control Act, markedsføringsloven, § 20).

Before you buy

Before you buy, we show the price per period, when the subscription renews, and how to cancel it. The price is the total price including VAT. The button you pay with says “Order with obligation to pay”. Payment is handled by Stripe. [BEKREFT V36: whether purchases in the phone app should go through Apple or Google]

Right of withdrawal

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal. If you want to start using the subscription straight away, you tick: “Start my access now. If I withdraw within 14 days, I pay only for the days I have used.” This is a request. It does not mean you give up your right of withdrawal. You can withdraw with a separate button for withdrawing from the contract, in both Norway and Sweden.

Confirmation and reminders

  • After the purchase, you get an email with the subscription, the price, renewal, cancellation, the right of withdrawal and the withdrawal form, and the time of your request to start straight away.
  • We remind you about the subscription at least every six months and before each annual renewal (the Norwegian Digital Content and Services Act, digitalytelsesloven, § 33).
  • A subscription does not bind you for more than six months, unless the discount justifies it. [BEKREFT V37: Jens is assessing the commitment period for the annual subscription]

Cancellation

You cancel the subscription in the same place you bought it. [BEKREFT V38: when the cancellation takes effect, and whether there is a refund for a paid period]

11. Parents and guardians

Declaration of parental responsibility

When you create an account for a child with “Add child”, or link to a child, you tick: “I am the parent or legal guardian of [child name].” You confirm that this is true, and that you have the right to make decisions about the child’s use of goalGetr. An incorrect declaration is a breach of these terms. We can then remove the link and suspend or delete your account (section 13). [BEKREFT V39: Jens writes the final clause on the declaration and the consequences of an incorrect declaration]

How we check the link

Your account is verified with a code sent to your email or phone. If the child is on a team, a coach on the team confirms or removes each parent in the member list, which only coaches see. A link that comes from a coach’s invitation is confirmed from the start. If the child is not on a team, the link is based on the declaration and the verified account.

What you control as a parent

You decide whether the child’s photo is shown to others (section 5). You turn trading on or off and approve or decline prize orders (section 8). You correct the child’s birth year, and you can delete the child’s account (section 13). For young people aged 13–17, the link is voluntary, but it is needed in the cases in section 2.

When the child is no longer treated as under 13

When a child whose account was created by a parent is no longer treated as under 13, we show the child once what the parent has accepted. The child can confirm it or withdraw it. [BEKREFT V40: what happens to the account when a 13–17-year-old withdraws consent, including when a child withdraws it the first time they are no longer treated as under 13, CDA and Jens]

If the child no longer has a linked parent

If you delete your own account, the child’s account stays, because the child is a separate person. If a child under 13 no longer has any linked parent, the account is paused until a parent is linked again.

12. The service, changes and liability

We work to keep goalGetr running at all times, but we cannot promise that the service is never down. We may shut it down for a short time for maintenance or when something goes wrong.

We develop goalGetr all the time and may add, change or remove features. If a change affects something you have paid for, we tell you in good time. [BEKREFT V41: notice period and rights in case of changes to paid services, Jens]

Content from others

In the app, videos from YouTube and Vimeo only load when you tap to play them. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and Vimeo without tracking. When the video plays, the terms of YouTube or Vimeo also apply.

Content that users, coaches and clubs add is their responsibility. Drills are suggestions; the person who leads the training is responsible for making sure it is safe.

Liability

We are liable for losses caused by our negligence, under the ordinary rules of Norwegian law. [BEKREFT V42: any limitations of liability, for example for indirect loss, loss of data and caps on amounts, and liability towards clubs, Jens] Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

13. Deletion and termination

Delete your account

You delete your account yourself with “Delete account” under “Account settings” in the app, both at app.goalgetr.co and in the phone app when it arrives. [BEKREFT V43: that the button is still called “Delete account” and is still under “Account settings” once the changes have been built; the consent specification, item 15, says “Delete my account”, CDA] Without logging in, you can use the form on the deletion page on goalgetr.co, or write to support@goalgetr.co. [BEKREFT V44: the address of the deletion page on goalgetr.co]

If you are the only head coach of a team, the app shows you how to hand the team over before your account is deleted.

Delete a child’s account

As a parent, you can delete your child’s account in the app with [BEKREFT V45: the name of the button for deleting the child’s account, e.g. “Delete child’s account”, and where it is; today the button is called “Remove child” and only removes your link, CDA]. This deletes the whole account, not just your link to the child. If the child has no email address or phone number of their own on the account, you are the only one who can delete it. [BEKREFT V46: whether a parent can delete the account of a young person aged 13–17 without the young person’s consent, CDA and Jens]

What is deleted and what we keep

When an account is deleted, we delete the user, the profile, the card and the photos, the rating and the log behind it, tasks and results, trades and the collection, team memberships, attendance answers and push keys. Your name is removed from notes you have written about other players. The deletion also reaches our suppliers, without you having to ask. remove.bg and Anthropic delete their copies themselves, within their own time limits (Privacy Policy section 8).

When goalGetr can suspend or close an account

We can suspend or close an account if the rules in section 7 are broken seriously or repeatedly, if the declaration of parental responsibility is incorrect, if the account puts children or others at risk, or if the law or an authority requires it. We tell you first and explain why, unless it is urgent. [BEKREFT V50: notice period and right to complain before suspension or closure]

A child’s account that has not been used for a long time is deleted automatically, and we notify the parent first. [BEKREFT V51: time limit for automatic deletion of inactive children’s accounts; Jens sets the time limit]

14. Changes to these terms

Each version of these terms has a version number, and we keep an unchanged copy of each version. If we change something significant, we tell you before the change applies. We then ask you to accept the new terms, or to consent again where needed. For children under 13, we tell the parent. [BEKREFT V52: how and how far in advance we give notice of changes (in the app, by email, on the website), Jens] If you do not want to accept new terms, you can delete your account. [BEKREFT V53: refund for a paid period if you say no to significantly changed terms and delete your account (consider avtaleloven § 36 and digitalytelsesloven); from the first sale, Jens]

15. Governing law and disputes

Norwegian law applies to these terms. If you live in another country, you keep the protection you have as a consumer under the mandatory rules where you live.

If you disagree with us, write to support@goalgetr.co first, and we will try to resolve the matter. Consumers in Norway can complain to the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet), and consumers in Sweden to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden). [BEKREFT V54: complaint bodies, and the venue if the case goes to court, Jens]

You can send complaints about how we process personal data to Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority), or to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection) in Sweden (Privacy Policy).
